Alice Braga

Alice Braga has worked in several Brazilian as well as American TV and films. Coming from a family of actresses, it's natural for her to join the profession at a young age. She first appeared in a commercial as a child after which she received critical acclaim for her role in the Brazilian crime film 'City of God' which debuted in 2002. She was the recipient of several awards internationally for her role in the Brazilian drama film 'Lower City' (2005). Braga was next seen in"Journey to the End of the Night," an English movie in the English language "Journey to the End of the Night" (2006). Braga gained worldwide recognition working opposite Will Smith in the American post-apocalyptic horror film 'I Am Legend' (2007). She has appeared in several Hollywood film productions, like 'Repo Men,' 'Predators,' 'The Rite, and 'Elysium' since then. She is the lead character in the role of Teresa Mendoza on the American crime-drama series "Queen of the South" and she is a regular appearance on the Brazilian web show "Samantha!"
