Annette Funicello is an American performer and actress. Annette Funicello is an American actor and singer. As a teenager she began her singing career. She became well-known for songs such as 'Tall Paul' and "Pineapple Princess. Annette was an introverted girl born in Utica and was surrounded by Italian immigrants. Annette hoped to make a career in the entertainment business and quickly turned on acting and dancing. Mid-1950s she gained significant recognition for her appearances as a character in "Disney" sketch shows. Annette shed her Disney persona when she became an adult, and started to play adult roles. Being one of the first performers, Annette was acknowledged with introducing the "beach" style of party. Her roles included "Pajama Parties", 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini", and "Beach Party'.
